The apocalypse is not available at Wal-Mart

 ever have one of those
 days when

excuse me while I crush this ant
  with a ball peen hammer

now what's an ant doing with
        a hammer?
               OW Jesus
                    my thumb

      carpenter ant

 anyway, ever have a day
when the sun climbs red-orange on the back
      of a slavering jackal
and blood splatters on every front door?

 It could happen
      tomorrow

 And when it does
      say tomorrow
 it won't be carpenter ants
      I mean some
      ancient carpenter
 you're worrying about but
      avenging aphids

      I mean angels
