women's studies 101
.................................

i've read that vaginas are something to worry about

all those pussycat names
how it meows
how it purrs
kneading bread rising on my belly
the loaf of my shoulder blade
against those who like to call me
honey

with four moons in the back
i've been less alone in a crowd of men
who have come to you
one by one
fulfilling that soulmate hole

tunneling like voles into your cozy home.
